Weekend Steals | In My Closet Top 10 Sale

Happy 4th of July weekend friends! Do you have any plans for the long weekend?  Looks like we’ll be making a quick trip to Austin, which is such a fun town, but we haven’t tried it with baby yet!  I just posted her 3-month routine, and now, at 4 1/2 months, she’s been giving me such a run for my money with her bedtime!  I’m trying to transition her to her crib because she’s getting too big for the bassinet and she’s rolling from back to tummy, but then doesn’t like being on her tummy and doesn’t know how to roll back over or lay on her tummy to fall asleep. And I’ve been unswaddling her too because of the rolling.  It’s been such a challenge these last several days.  Used to, I just put her to bed and that was it until it was time to feed her again.  Ug!  I welcome your suggestions!
Let’s switch gears to the steals I found for you!  So many tried and true things I own and love are on big sale now, along with all the other 4th of July sales to take advantage of! See the end of the post for the deals and codes.  You know I’ve been crushing hard on Loft lately, this weekend they have 50% off EVERYTHING!  Come with me inside the Loft dressing room here & here to see what I tried on and how it fit!  For size reference, I’m about 5’1 (rounding up;), and about 110 pounds.

AG Prima Cigarette Jeans

white jeans $178, $125 (size 25)
You’ve heard me rave about these for years.  They are pricey, but worth it for the thicker material that won’t show all the lumps and bumps that typical white jeans do.  They are more like true white jeans, not just stretchy white pants if you know what I mean. They are currently available in all sizes and I wear 25.

BLANK NYC Distressed Skinny Jeans
distressed skinny jeans $88, $61.60 (size 25)
Love, love, love these for the fit, feel and just enough rips but not too much.  They are my current, fave casual jean.  I got mine altered in the length (had to cut off about 4 inches for this shorty!) so that they fit right at my ankles.  I’ve already washed them several times and they’ve held up great.

#3
Lush Knit Maxi Dress
Did someone say drinks and dinner?!  I love a maxi for that occasion! This easy to wear dress comes in 11 colors/patterns and this striped one is so cute!

Lush knit maxi $52, $38.90

#4
Stem Sleeveless Knit Romper
How cute is this romper for running around on the weekends? Yes, you have to strip down to pee, but it’s worth it! It also comes in grey and the material is nice and soft.

ASTR Sleeveless Romper
Another super romper, but this one is a bit dressier with the fabric and cut.  The coral or green are really pretty too.

Layered Look Top
This top was a favorite of yours, and when I showed it to you initially, the blue and white was sold out and it was only available in yellow/white.  But, good news- it’s been restocked in all sizes!  I felt like it ran big, I’m in XS and had plenty of room.

top $49, $29.40

#7
Striped Scoop Tee
Who doesn’t love a simple, black and white striped tee?!  And why do we need all.of.them?!  This one fits really nicely and has a feminine scoop neck with soft fabric that feels well made.

tee $34.50, $17.25 (XS)

Striped Racerback Tank
This tank is 100% cotton and looks a little dressed up with it’s cami style.  Looks great with white jeans too!

#9
BLANK NYC Denim Shorts
These denim shorts are probably the most-worn thing in my closet right now! They are just the coolest!  Sizes have been coming and going so check back if they don’t have your size.  I’m in 25.

Jessica Simpson Platform Slingback Wedge Sandal
Finally, I have this shoe from years ago, and this is a newer version.  You’ll seriously wear it with everything from jeans to dresses to skirts and shorts because you can dress it up or down.  These are the shoes I have on with the striped top/tie shorts above.
sandal $78.95, $52.89

  1. I feel you on the out of swaddle transition! The Baby Merlin Magic Sleepsuit worked WONDERS for our son. It is so funny looking and you'd think it's just a gimmick, but when you're totally desperate for sleep its worth trying anything (and I'm pretty sure there are free 30 day returns if it doesn't work). Basically the suit keeps the baby's hands free, so she can self-soothe but maintain the safe, comforting feeling of the swaddle. It also kept our little dude from rolling himself over. Here's the link to Amazon! https://www.amazon.com/Baby-Merlins-Magic-Sleepsuit-Cotton/dp/B00KHZPH74/ref=lp_6405063011_1_1_a_it?srs=6405063011&ie=UTF8&qid=1467385156&sr=8-1

  2. When my son first started to turn but couldn't get himself back over again I just rolled up two small towels and put them under the bottom sheet in his cot and popped him in the middle. The towel rolls ran lengthwise from his shoulders to his toes and this just stopped him from rolling over. Might be worth a try?

  3. You could also try I zipadee zip from sleepingbaby.com. It works similar to the sleep suit mentioned above. Love all the outfits…I need to go shopping!!
