Father’s Day Gift Guide

We’re into our first full week of summer and we’ve gotten some things organized around the house, but more importantly, have also been to the pool for some fun in the sun!  I can’t wait to get James back in swimming lessons because he’s had enough to give him a little confidence, but not enough to make him a good swimmer.  As much as I love the pool, I’m stressed the whole time keeping him in arms distance if he isn’t wearing his floaties and we stay right by the stairs where he can touch.  Ahhh, can you relate?! His lessons start in two weeks and he’ll go everyday for 10 days, and repeat as necessary.  Tomorrow, I’ll be sharing a few simple summer morning and evening routines we’re sticking to to make life easier and to keep this mama from losing her mind!

We’re just two weeks away from Father’s Day (June 21) and I’ve partnered with my fave Nordstrom to bring you a great selection of gifts for all the Dads out there.  Father’s day came a little early for my hubby as I recently helped up his professional wardrobe with some new shirts and ties.  Moms get so much of the credit, deservedly so, but Dads work hard too!
Of course, I can’t let this Dad wake up on Father’s Day to nothing, so James and I will have to get creative and maybe pick out something new below.  I think my guy would like anything I’ve pictured, although getting him to tell me what he’d like is as easy as pulling teeth. :/ What about your special guy?
If he’s in need of new swimwear, you can check out these awesome colorful swim trunks.  And remember, Nordstrom has free shipping and free returns, and Free delivery by Father’s Day for selected items ordered by 11pm ET on June 11.

  1. Oh, I so remember the days of having young ones at the pool. Fun and exhausting all at once. Hope your summer is off to a great start. I remember the pics from James lessons last year and loved the fabulous facility!

  2. I remember the shallow end at the steps days. I remember thinking how much I missed being able to read at the pool. Well, my children are older, and I still find myself looking up constantly to scan the water!
