This looks great! I need to find a low sofa table for a client!
I saw another one online I like too- it wouldn't provide the under storage but it looks great- http://www.pinterest.com/pin/75787206204480258/

When we moved in we had the same thought. Our couch looked so boring and so blah! So we bought a table at Restoration Hardware and it fit perfectly!
Not too big and the perfect height! But we need to style ours. I love how you styled yours!

I love your console table- I think I pinned that one!
I was trying to comment on your post but it wouldn't let me. Your home is beautiful! I especially love your floors!
Careful with the candles on the back. My family's home caught on fire because of burning candles behind the sofa on a console table. My dad happened to throw a blanket he was using across the back of the sofa (forgetting that Mom had lit some candles). He went outside to do some chores and when he walked back in, the living room was engulfed in flames and smoke. Just a heads up. You don't think it can happen, but it can.
Other than that, it's lovely. 🙂
Liz, I'm so sorry to hear that- just devastating.
Looks great!
I love how it looks. Ours currently does not have a table behind it, but doesn't need one the way it is situated in the room. But, we have used one behind it in the past when turned a different direction. As for Liz's comment, agree, and love PB's new battery candles with the flicker wick (they are timed so they come on at the same time each evening and turn off 5-6 hours later)…they look real and are perfect for those spots where an open flame could be dangerous.
I like how this looks! I don't really mind the back of our sofa actually, but I love the look of sofa tables too.

Oh, I LOVE a table behind a sofa. So good, Megan. And those candle holders are beautiful. So fun to be able to decorate behind there for the seasons. Great idea with the candles, Lauren.
That sofa table looks gorgeous! I love the way you decorated it! Can't wait to see what table you actually get for that spot!
Your sofa table looks great! It really ties your room together. I think a room can look naked without a sofa table.
Megan, I've been following your blog for years now and love your design talent (and focus on healthy living)! This table looks lovely behind the couch and adds warmth to the room. Beautiful work:-)
