Master Bedroom Update (Mirrored Nightstands)

Mirrored nightstands have been on my wish list for a very long time, and I finally took the plunge and ordered a pair from Pottery Barn (the Park Mirrored Nightstand).  They arrived on Friday and made me one happy girl!  (They are catalog/internet only).

They really make the whole room feel brighter and more glamorous.  I also like the sleekness of the drawers and how clean they look with the straight ledge pulls as opposed to knobs.  We have room for wider nightstands, but these seemed to be the ones I liked the best.  The PB mirrored dresser (that I love) would have been too tall.

Our bedroom has evolved over the couple years we've been in this house.  We started with our dark brown leather bed, dark wooden nightstands, and a too-small lamps.  The bed and nightstands have since been relocated to the guest room.

In February this year, we exchanged the headboard for an upholstered bed from Overstock.com.  I placed a starburst mirror over the bed and brought in two Homegoods lamps.

I like to keep my nightstands clear of clutter, and put books, a notepad and something to write with inside the drawers, along with tissues.  I need to get a prettier alarm clock- I've tried others, but keep going back to my old, ugly one because it has worked the best.

Update:  We are finally getting around to putting more finishing touches on this room.  I'm on the hunt for a grey rug now

  12. These nightstands are beautiful! I just got mine delivered today...except mine are from Target and only cost $90 each. Are you worried about damaging the top?

  13. Lovely changes :). As for the alarm clock issues, my husband and I use our smart phones for our alarm clocks, which don't remain on our nightstands permanently, so as not to have the digital numbers and black plastic taking away from the look we're going for in our room. :)
