New Entry Rug (Beni Ourian)

We got a new rug for the entry way and I'm kind of in love with it.  It's the Moroccan-style Beni Ourian  rug from Pottery Barn, in a super plush, unsheared pile.  I'm glad I went to check it out at the store first, because the plushiness surprised me.  I love the look of flat weave rugs, but can't stand how they feel on my feet.  This rug, on the other hand, feels so good on my feet.

Here it is in the store . . .

and at home:)

I'm changing up a few things in the entry way and will show you soon!

  4. Oh I love this! You're so right, those rugs are often times not very plush-- which is the best part of having an area rug in my opinion! So pretty, so fun, thanks for sharing!

  5. I can't wait to hear how you like the new rug. I am getting ready to tackle my entry and have been browsing tons of rugs online and in stores. Because it is plush I was concerned about dirt and how it would hold up in an entry? Can't wait to hear what you think!

    1. Well, the thing is, we don't usually enter our house through the front door- we use our garage entrances. We'll see about when guests come over . . .
